Besides being a counselor at Gateway, Mr. Rosado is a Dallas Cowboys fan, loves music, and grew up in night-clubs because his dad was a DJ. His strengths are listening, organization, and multitasking. During his free time, Mr. Rosado rests, attends sporting events, and spends time with his wife. When Mr. Rosado saw his nephew struggling to get into schools he became interested in the counseling profession. He graduated from Schurr High School in 1992, received his Bachelor’s Degree from UCR, and his Master’s Degree from Cal State San Bernardino. Mr. Rosado’s biggest challenge is wanting to do more for students than is possible. At Gateway, Mr Rosado has learned that not everyone wants to go to college, and many kids lack education and have a hard time in college. He says taking things day by day, not giving up, and overcoming adversities is key. Mr. Rosado says that 5 years from now he sees himself still helping students.
